The Gavril H-Series is a full-size commercial van manufactured by Gavril from 1993 to 2017.

Development[]

The H-Series was first revealed in a blog post made on October 31, 2012. By then, the shell had been modeled. The H-Series was in-game by at least April of 2013, [1] and was released along with the Gavril D-Series, Gavril Grand Marshal, Civetta Bolide and Ibishu Covet with the game's initial 0.3 release.

Overview[]

H15 Vanster[]

The H15 Vanster is a typical light-duty half-ton commercial van. It is equipped with a naturally aspirated 4.5-liter V8 engine shared with the D-Series and Grand Marshal that generates 194 brake horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque.

The standard model is equipped with a 4-speed automatic gearbox which couples the engine with the rear wheels to make a rear-wheel-drive drivetrain. A front transfer case can be added to convert the vehicle to 4WD if necessary. The H15 also has a 90L fuel tank located in front of the rear axles.

The suspension setup is typical for a van, a relatively soft setup including a live rear axle suspension for the rear, and independent suspension in the front with IFS coil overs to allow for comfortable driving along uneven terrain, with a decent amount of ground clearance for driving on harsher roads. The base model H15 weighs about 2300kg, or 5192 pounds.

H15 Vanster Long Wheelbase[]

The long wheelbase is very similar to the standard H15 except for having an extended frame, providing more space for cargo. It is slightly heavier than the normal H15 and is thus slower.

H15 Vanster Police Package[]

The police variant has a red and blue siren, a bull bar, and police livery. It is equipped with a larger 5.5-liter V8 engine that generates 220 brake horsepower and 302 pound-feet of torque.

H15 Vanster Off-Road[]

The Off-Road H15 has lifted off-road suspension, 33-inch off-road tires, a snorkel, and custom bumpers. It is equipped with a supercharged 5.5-liter V8 engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

H15 Passenger[]

The H15 Passenger is a passenger van made for carrying more pedestrians. It is equipped with an independent front suspension, a live axle rear suspension, and a 4.5-liter V8 engine.

H25 Vanster[]

The H25 Vanster is a quarter-ton variant equipped with an upgraded beam axle front suspension, a live axle rear suspension, and an improved drivetrain, along with stiffer springs and shocks, allowing for a greater towing and carrying capacity. It has a 5.5-liter V8 engine that generates 220 brake horsepower and 302 pound-feet of torque paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

H25 Vanster Long Wheelbase[]

The long wheelbase variant has an extended frame that provides greater cargo space at the expense of performance.

H25 Vanster Work Package[]

The work package variant has roof equipment, different wheels, and a Beamcom livery.

H35 Vanster[]

The H35 Vanster is a one-ton variant, featuring a heavy-duty frame, rear axle, and suspension. It also has a 6.9-liter V8 engine that generates 252 brake horsepower and 343 pound-feet of torque paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

H45 Cabster Chassis Cab[]

The Gavril H45 Cabster has a longer wheelbase, a heavy-duty frame, heavy duty suspension, and heavy-duty wheels. In addition, it can be fitted with various upfits. As the Cabster is based on the same chassis as the Vanster, most modifications or options available for the Vanster can be fitted on both models.

H45 Diesel Cabster Rollback Upfit[]

The rollback variant can transport cars and is an alternative to the much larger T-Series car hauler upfit. It is the only configuration that has the 6 liter V8 diesel engine.

H45 Cabster Cargo Box Upfit[]

This variant is equipped with a cargo box and a 6.9-liter V8 engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

H45 Ambulance Upfit[]

The Disastrous[]

The Disastrous is a stripped-down derby variant with a roll cage, a cut hood, a push bar, and undersized tires. It is equipped with a 4.5-liter V8 engine paired with a 4-speed automatic.

Drift[]

The Drift variant is stripped down and has a supercharged 5.5-liter V8 paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, a welded differential, and drift steering.

The Vantastic[]

The Vantastic is another type of off-road variant, equipped with a 3-link lifted suspension, a snorkel, a bull bar, and a roll cage. It has a 4.1-liter I6 engine paired with a 5-speed manual.

Trivia[]

  • The H-Series and along with the D25, D35, D45, and T-Series are the only Gavril vehicles that never came with the RoadSport trim.
  • It was remastered in version 0.24.
  • The Street Tuned config (when the remaster when introduced) is a major reference to the "Mystery Machine".
